Lospith Tempestas at Cairteila & Coffee’s Greenshoes in Glenderry together have produced this wonderful litter of 10, born on the 25th May, 6 ladies and 4 gents. These pups are lovely example of the breed, evenly proportioned from birth, outgoing characters with cheeky personalities and lots of forward clever thinking.

Sadie: a very feminine type with a beautiful sweet head, tight dense liver curls, her temperament is gentle to all. Sadie had a shortened show life, unless in gamekeepers classes at Crufts, she much prefers being out in the field where she’s pretty much an all rounder, picking up, beating, flanking and peg dog. A blessed dog to have with me on the field. Lives alongside 8 other IWS and a very tentative mother.
Darby: loves all types of water ,reeds ,steep banks ,thick cover are no problem never hesitant (does what it says on the tin )loves all other creatures but is particularly keen on birds re working very responsive to the whistle .Very good traveller in vehicles and perfect in home ,lives with other entire males and is a joy to live.
Both Parents Fully Health Tested.

If you are interested in this litter please contact the Acting Secretary of the Sporting irish Water Spaniel Club and they will pass on your details to the breeder.

This is a reminder to anyone looking for an Irish Water Spaniel to take great care.
If thinking of getting a puppy then you should visit the puppies before making a decision. It is imperative that you see the mother happily interacting with the puppies. You should also ask to see the mother's Kennel Club registration documents, this will reduce the chances of getting unregistered puppies.
On no account accept a puppy without seeing where they have been reared, responsible breeders expect prospective owners to visit them and indeed are unlikely to let puppies go to people they haven't met.
We are aware of a number of IWS where people have recently been misled and either getting the dogs without seeing the mother and/ or being duped into believing they would receive registration documents. Some are now having to be rehomed.
If in doubt the secretaries of the two UK breed club's should be able to give you some advice.

The Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club will be having a training weekend with Dorothy Walls-Duffin on Saturday 12th September and Sunday 13th September 2026.
